St. James coordinates with DSS and prepares the schedules for delivery of hot meals for the Meals on Wheels Program. We also help to deliver meals to the Belhaven area along with other churches.

St. James joins 4 other area churches to help serve those individuals and families most in need. This faith-based community group collaborates to help with rent, utilities, groceries, medical bills, and more.

A nonprofit in Belhaven, dedicated to meeting the needs of our community. Volunteers distribute food boxes to 115-120 families monthly, along with other charitable acts, mostly funded by Martha’s Thrift Store.

Thomas W. Wahab, a longtime resident of Belhaven, served 30 years as a pilot in the US Military. He was passionate about rural healthcare. In his memory, St. James continues The Rural Health Fund to help those in need with medical necessities.

Each year St. James collaborates with the Belhaven-Pantego Rotary, local realtors, and our community members to provide new coats for children in need. Our goal is for no child in our community to be cold this winter.

A summertime favorite! At Vacation Bible School, all kids are invited to enjoy friends, crafts, and fun activities, as they learn more about The Bible. Mom and Dad get a break and the kids get to make great memories.

Our annual Blessing of the Cookies event is a joyous holiday celebration filled with music, cookie decorating, and fellowship. Everything is provided for children of all ages to create the perfect Christmas cookie!
